Chelsea Ladies Squad 2007/08
Chelsea Ladies FC is a fully integrated female club with performance-based and developmental objectives.
The Ladies first team competes in the FA Nationwide Women's Premier League, with the Reserves playing in the Reserve Division.
The Ladies Club, a constituent part of the comprehensive Community Development Program at Chelsea, is committed to producing a first team capable of finishing in the Country's top four sides.
This aim will be achieved by producing players through the Female 'Center of Excellence' and Academy College Program with the ability, capability and mentality to perform within the senior sides, supported by attracting high quality players with international experience.
One of the first 20 Clubs Nationally to be granted an FA Licence to operate a Female 'Center of Excellence', Chelsea Ladies FC runs sides at four age groups (under 10, 12, 14 & 16) competing in the FA South-East Center of Excellence League.
The girls have a structured coaching program incorporating technical skills, tactical understanding, strength & conditioning and psychological constructs to maximise player development and feed the long-term success of the Club
